OUR PROCESS

Thoughout the 8 steps of our manufacturing process, we pay close and careful attention to each and every detail to make sure that your mural looks its best.

STEP 1

Working together to come up with the perfect image for your space.

STEP 2

Here your image is adjusted to size and divided into rows and columns.

STEP 3

Your images are then printed in a temperature-controlled room to maximize color reproduction.

STEP 4

A protective convering is then applied to each individual image.

STEP 5

Each image is manually centered on its own numbered tile.

STEP 6

Tiles are loaded into the kiln and the firing process begins.

STEP 7

Once all the tiles have cooled off, one by one they are each inspected for any imperfections.

STEP 8

Installation: We suggest that a professional install your tiles mural, we will supply a numbered map with rows and columns for ease of installation.

Choose the right tile for you

  • All sizes are available in Glossy, Semi-Glossy and Matte

  • All sizes are suitable for indoor and outdoor application

  • All tiles are UV resistant and will not fade, even in the sunlight

  • Semi-Glossy finish is suggested for brightly lit areas to avoid glare.

TILE SIZE CHOICE

Colour Reproduction

Due to nature of the natural ceramic pigments that are used during the printing process, it is expected that certain colours will vary from those seen on the original image (i.e. on a computer screen). Certain colours will lose their tone and / or “intensity” during the firing process.

Prior to putting your mural into final production, we will provide you with a preview of that your final mural will look like (in terms of colour matching and colour reproduction).

Kiln-fired

  • Fired at 900 C / 1652 F

  • Image becomes a permanent part of the tile

  • Can be installed both indoors and outdoors

  • Can be installed in direct sunlight without fading

  • UV and fade resistant (guaranteed)

  • Will not crack du to freeze/thaw cycle in cold

Dye Sublimation

  • Fired at 900 C / 1652 F

  • Image becomes a permanent part of the tile

  • Can be installed both indoors and outdoors

  • Can be installed in direct sunlight without fading

  • UV and fade resistant (guaranteed)

  • Will not crack du to freeze/thaw cycle in cold
